Only a few types of books are exempt from my “reading list”. I do not read or review erotic or adult only books. Unless specifically asked to by a publisher or author, I generally do not read romance novels. On the low end of my reading preference list is fantasy and science fiction, but I have been known to read both.

This leaves the following categories (not in the order of preference) that you may find included in my book review blog: action, adventure, technical, textbook, medical thriller, legal thriller, inspirational, historical, religious, how-to, self-improvement, western, biography, autobiography, political/social commentary, etc.

In accordance with US federal law, books or advanced reading copies provided by publishers and authors are clearly identified at the end of the review. It should be assumed by the absence of a disclaimer that I purchased (or borrowed) the book being reviewed.
