NetCasters is an excellent book on Web Evangelism. After sharing a few stories about how internet evangelism has affected some people and a brief overview of the internet, Craig von Buseck describes the various avenues for outreach available. Each of the methods is explained along with the benefits and pitfalls.
This is not a technical “how-to” book, but rather an outline of the methods available to the church or person interested in outreach through the web. This would be a helpful book for pastors, church staff, and church webmasters to read before launching into a web project. It would also be helpful to those that already have a web presence.
The book is filled with examples of what others are doing as well as a lengthy list of “NetCaster heroes”. This book is not only inspiring, but a valuable resource.
My review was based on an electronic version of the book, but I plan to purchase a paper copy soon to put in my library. This book gets an easy 5 stars from me.
